I have been busy all week getting ready for a very special arrival tomorrow... Little Duck! I've been looking forward to her trip all summer and I cannot wait for some of the fun we're going to have! I'd spill some of the beans, but some things need to be kept a surprise! Now hopefully the weather will cooperate with us... I'm going to be busy playing tour guide so I probably will be taking a little break from blogging for the week but stay tuned for some highlights from our fun. You can also follow along to some of our #DucksTakeNYC adventures on Instagram!
Well I’m back from Jamaica.. I think we can all attest that vacations are never long enough! It was such a fun trip! Lots of great family time with Chris’ family and the wedding was truly beautiful. Definitely a successful first trip out of the country.
Here’s a look at some of the highlights of our trip!
We flew Caribbean Airlines bright and early! They were great though.. fast, friendly and they fed us – which I’ll always be a fan of.
Cloudy airplane window.. but flying in was really beautiful. The island looks so lush and full of color from above.
After taking my first trip through customs we headed to the resort where we were welcomed to this view from our hotel balcony. Oh yeah, this view!
The night before the wedding we enjoyed dinner with all of the guests followed by an awesome bon fire on the beach. We also lit off Chinese lanterns, which were a little tricky, but we figured it out for the most part ;-)
Chris and his Goddaughter decided they wanted to go for a little flight parasailing! I settled for the less adventurous outing of kayaking on the trip.
Then it was time for the main event.. the wedding!
The ceremony was so nice and we celebrated into the wee hours of the night dancing away.
After the wedding we spent a couple more days enjoying the beach, unlimited pina coladas, some delicious bites and some more entertainment.
And that’s a wrap! See you later Montego Bay, thanks for the sunshine and the great trip!
By the time you read this I will already be on my way down south to Jamaica! That’s right Jamaica! Can you believe this is my first trip out of the country too?! We’re heading down for a wedding and I am seriously excited for some temperatures above 50. I’ll be back next week with new posts and definitely a wrap-up of my trip! See you guys then :)
