As most of you know... I recently moved ( we just hit the two-week mark!) Everything is finally just about put away and decorated and man, moving is A LOT of work! Add in doing it while running a biz and woweee! So if there's one thing that's been running on my mind non-stop lately it is all things home! Which is why I am SO very excited to share an event in NYC happening on Monday that is dedicated to exactly that and guess what YOU'RE INVITED! I'm talking about the 3rd Annual HGTV Blogger Block Party!

If you know me reallyyy well, you know that I pretty much live, breathe and sleep all things HGTV so you can bet your bottom dollar I will be at the event on Monday! The day promises to be full of all things blogging, tweeting, meet and greeting, DIY and home decor and I am PUMPED! This year's schedule looks super awesome too. Check it outtt 👇🏻

I always wait for the mail each month for my new issue of HGTV magazine so I'm really looking forward to the chance at hearing from Magazine Editor in Chief Sara Peterson. I am a HUGE fan of Emily Henderson and Young House Love too so I'm really looking forward to their chats too!

LuLu*s Style Studio at NYFW

New York Fashion Week is in full swing in the city! This season I kicked off the week at LuLu*s Style Studio event with my friend and fellow blogger Lynette. The evening was filled with all things beauty and fashion -- makeup, manicures, fashion, prosecco and shopping! Is there really a better combination?

LuLu*s really went to the nines on this event and all of the attendees were treated to makeup makeovers, a fun photo booth, a gifting suite full of fabulous beauty products and a whole floor dedicated to LuLu*s fall fashions!

Even the drinks sparkled! Cheers to Diama Sparkle for the delicious drinks for the evening! I'm definitely going to have to pick up a bottle or two to add to my bar cart for the sole reason the bottles were so pretty! ;-)

Now onto some of the fashion! When we made it to the top floor of the event space we were greeted with racks and racks of fabulous fall picks from LuLu*s. And the best part...? We all got to pick an item to take home with us!

It was tough to choose, there were just so many adorable options, but I ended up going with a fun wool plaid midi skirt. Midi skirts have become such a staple in my wardrobe and I've been dying to find a cute fall choice. So I was super excited when I stumbled upon this cutie on the racks. Good news, you can snag one for yourself too! Shop the skirt!

That wasn't the end of the night's goodies either.. LuLu*s generous sponsors hooked all of us up with some serious beauty swag! I cannot wait to try out the Amika dry shampoo (I'm so addicted to dry shampoo...) and some of LVX's fall nail polish colors! I don't even know where to start on trying all of these goodies!
