And So We Carved Some Pumpkins..

The time had come for… Pumpkin carving! Now, I haven’t carved a pumpkin in years, and I’ve definitely never carved one without a stencil. This year I decided to live life on the wild side and go freehand. In hindsight I’m not so sure that was the best idea.. turns out I’m not very good at it! In fact, I kind of just started carving an “O” for Oregon and spaced the fact that if you start carving a circle it just carves a hole in the pumpkin and definitely doesn’t look like an Oregon “O”. Minor obstacle though. Good thing there are two sides of the pumpkin to carve! Here were our finished products!

Chris was very proud of his New York Giant pumpkin, and I must say his carving skills are much better than mine!
