From winter coats to spring blooms! Spring has slowly but surely made its way to the city. Here are some pics I’ve taken over the last month and a half of our trips to Central Park! Hopefully a few of many many trips to come this Spring and Summer!

There is nothing Scooter loves more than a trip to the park to adventure!

It’s days like these that you really appreciate living in the city. I was talking with my friend and we decided that it’s probably actually a good thing that the weather here sucks for apx 50% of the year, because if we had LA’s weather the city would be even more crowded. This way, only the strong survive ;-)

And after a 6.5 mile walk… Scoots ends up like this as soon as we get home!

That Time I Met Morgan Freeman

It’s been a busy month in the events division of my office! I wanted to take the opportunity to highlight one of our events that we put on for our client Grace Hightower & Coffees of Rwanda that I’m particularly proud of the team for.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, our client wanted to host a cocktail party to honor the Rwandan First Lady and the progress the country has made in the past two decades. Our client’s company runs with the motto given by the President, “trade not aid” and for nearly two years Grace Hightower has been dedicated to helping the country’s economy directly by buying coffee directly from the Rwandan farmers. The event was a very intimate affair with invites going to close friends of the De Niros and A-tier press.

Here are some photo highlights of the evening, along with my picture with Morgan Freeman! And yes, he’s just as cool in person as you would expect (for the 5 mins we talked to him anyways :-p)
