What is a maple bar? WHAT IS A MAPLE BAR?! Oh no, this is bad. I had kind of wondered why I have never seen maple bars at any of the grocery stores since living in New York. Being asked the question of what a maple bar is from a native New Yorker confirmed my suspicions, that, well they don’t seem to have them here. I get it, New York is known for many other things, but I must admit it is lacking on some of my favorite things. 

So to all you maple bar loving people, you have been warned. I may even have to get a to-go bag from Safeway and bring them on the airplane back on New Year’s Eve and show these New Yorkers what is up.
