No Jack in the Box?
As I was sitting in bed this morning thinking about important life issues, ie. what I want to eat today, and my stomach started to rumble at the idea of a nice Sourdough Jack. I’m not entirely sure why, since I can’t remember the last time I actually had one, but there is something to be said about a nice juicy burger with bacon and a flat sourdough bun. I’ve had my fair share of delicious burgers in the city and I’m sure there is a restaurant somewhere that serves something similar, but why try and replicate what Jack does best?
As my mind became fixated on how I was going to make this Sourdough Jack expedition come true I came to a very horrible realization {cue horror music} that I hadn’t actually seen a Jack in the Box commercial while living here. Oh no, not a good sign. Then I realized you know I actually usually really like Jack in the Box commercials.. good thing the Internet archives just about everything now. So naturally, I went to youtube and clicked the first Jack in the Box commercial that came up. Aw good old Jack. Jack even dressed up as the Statue of Liberty in the commercial so I wasn’t ready to lose all hope just yet. That was until I went to the website, clicked on locations and saw this…
Nooooooo, say it isn’t so! Say it isn’t so! I am sad to conclude that there indeed are no Jack in the Boxes in New York. Now I leave you to ponder some more important life decisions, ie. What am I going to eat today now!!!
