Up the Spire Goes!

Today is the day! This morning, construction crews are topping 1 World Trade Center with its 408-foot spire. After the spire has been put into place the building will officially be the tallest building in the western hemisphere at 1,776 feet. It’s a symbolic day for New Yorkers as well as all Americans, reminding us all that we can rise above.
