Oh Yes I Did...

Finding Girl Scout cookies in the city if you don’t know a Girl Scout is like finding a needle in a haystack! No standing in front of grocery stores here… This year I got a little inventive with a little help from social media on getting my cookie fix thanks to my fav reality TV family, the Thompson and Shannon family from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo!

They posted on their fan page that they were helping out a friend who is a Girl Scout and were taking email orders for those interested. Bonus, they were signing a family photo and each of the boxes! I couldn’t send my email fast enough!

I wasn’t sure if I was going to hear back from them because I was sure their inbox was flooding with emails. Sure enough, within 24 hours they sent me the shipping amount and told me the PO box to send a money order to and about a week later I had cookies in my hand! Truthfully I have no idea how they kept all of that straight, but I’m so grateful for their help! Plus, bonus I got a signed pic of the family. Oh yeahhhhh! You can bet I’ve been savoring their cookies as long as I can too :)

Chris Hadfield

I’ve been following Canadian Astronaut, Chris Hadfield, for the last several months online. Since December he’s been living on the International Space Station and has become one of the most notable and socially active astronauts in history. While in space, he shared thousands of photos, bits of information, music and created awesome Youtube videos. Even if you aren’t a huge space buff, I dare you to go to his Youtube channel and not get sucked in for a few dozen videos!

Anyways, he’s a pretty cool guy and this video is a little life advice from him that I thought was worth sharing for everyone on all walks of life. Enjoy!
